About the Event

Welcome to Alpha Hunt – The Battle of Words!
This fun-filled event is designed to test the vocabulary, speed, and teamwork of young minds. Participants will form teams of two: one member picks alphabets from a bowl while the other forms meaningful words. It’s a race against time where creativity and quick thinking decide the winners! With 120 participants (60 teams) divided into two batches, only one winning team per batch will emerge as the Alpha Masters!

Event Format

• Teams: 2 members each
• Mode: One member picks alphabets, the other forms words
• Rounds: 1 power-packed round per batch
• Scoring: Word length = points (e.g., CAT = 3, SCHOOL = 6)
• Winners: 1 winning team from each batch

Event Flow

1. Introduction & Rules (5 min): Welcome speech, rules explanation, judging criteria.
2. Batch 1: Word Hunt Round (25 min): 20 min play + 5 min scoring & winner announcement.
3. Batch 2: Word Hunt Round (25 min): Same as Batch 1, with winner announcement.
4. Closing & Prize Distribution (5 min): Announcement of final winners and prize distribution.

Judging Criteria

• Word Validity: Only meaningful English words are accepted.
• Scoring: Word length = points.
• Teamwork: Smooth coordination between picker and word maker.
• Final Decision: Judges’ decision is final and binding.

Timing

• Total Duration: 1 hour
• Batch 1: 30 minutes
• Batch 2: 30 minutes

Guidelines

• Each team must have two members.
• No mobile phones, dictionaries, or calculators allowed.
• Participants must arrive 15–20 minutes before the event.
• Judges’ decision will be final.
