About the Event

Welcome to IQ Storm – The Ultimate Battle of Wits!
This event is designed to spark curiosity and challenge young minds from 6th and 7th standard in a thrilling quiz competition. Participants will team up in pairs and compete in one power-packed round of questions that test knowledge, speed, and strategy. With 60 teams divided into two batches, only one winning team per batch will emerge as the IQ Storm Champions!

Event Format

• Duo IQ Challenge
• Teams: 2 members each
• Mode: Interactive quiz using Mentimeter/Kahoot displayed on a big screen
• Questions: 15–20 from GK, Science, Current Affairs, Logic Puzzles & Audio-Visual clues
• Scoring: Points for correct answers & speed (auto-calculated by the platform)
• Winners: 1 winning team from each batch

Event Flow

1. Introduction & Rules (5 min): Welcome speech, rules explanation, judging criteria.
2. Batch 1: Quiz Round (25 min): 20 min quiz + live leaderboard updates + winner announcement.
3. Batch 2: Quiz Round (25 min): Same as Batch 1.
4. Closing & Prize Distribution (5 min): Winners announced and prizes awarded.

Judging Criteria

• Accuracy: Correct answers earn points (auto-scored).
• Speed: Faster responses earn bonus points.
• No Negative Marking

Timing

• Total Event Duration: 1 hour
• Batch 1: 30 minutes
• Batch 2: 30 minutes

Guidelines

• Each team should consist of two members.
• Phones and calculators are strictly prohibited.
• Participants should arrive 20 minutes before the event starts.
• Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
