About the Event
The Puzzle Solving Challenge is designed to encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving among students of 6th and 7th grade. Each team, consisting of two members, will compete in two engaging rounds of puzzle-solving. The event will test their speed, accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively under time constraints.
Event Flow
- Introduction & Welcoming (5 minutes):
- Opening remarks by the host.
- Introduction of participating teams.
- Brief overview of competition rules and judging criteria.
- Introduction of judges and moderators.
- Round 1:
- Explanation of rules and game
- Distribution of puzzle materials
- Puzzle solving
- Evaluation: Teams completing within the time limit and with accurate answers qualify for Round 2
- Round 2:
- Distribution of new puzzle materials
- Puzzle solving
- Evaluation and selection of top 3 winning teams
Judging Criteria
- Round 1:
- Completion of the puzzle
- Accuracy of the solution
- No partial points awarded
- Round 2:
- Accuracy in solving and answering the puzzle
- Only the first three teams to finish correctly will be declared winners
Event Timing
- Slot 1: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- Slot 2: 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
- Slot 3: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Guidelines for Participants
- Each team must consist of two members.
- Teams may select only one slot based on convenience.
- Participants must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled slot.
- Prior registration is mandatory.
- All activities must remain within the allocated time frame.
