About the Event

The Puzzle Solving Challenge is designed to encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving among students of 6th and 7th grade. Each team, consisting of two members, will compete in two engaging rounds of puzzle-solving. The event will test their speed, accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively under time constraints.

Event Flow

  1. Introduction & Welcoming (5 minutes):
    • Opening remarks by the host.
    • Introduction of participating teams.
    • Brief overview of competition rules and judging criteria.
    • Introduction of judges and moderators.
  2. Round 1:
    • Explanation of rules and game
    • Distribution of puzzle materials
    • Puzzle solving
    • Evaluation: Teams completing within the time limit and with accurate answers qualify for Round 2
  3. Round 2:
    • Distribution of new puzzle materials
    • Puzzle solving
    • Evaluation and selection of top 3 winning teams

Judging Criteria

  • Round 1:
    • Completion of the puzzle
    • Accuracy of the solution
    • No partial points awarded
  • Round 2:
    • Accuracy in solving and answering the puzzle
    • Only the first three teams to finish correctly will be declared winners

Event Timing

  • Slot 1: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Slot 2: 10:15 AM – 11:15 AM
  • Slot 3: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Guidelines for Participants

  • Each team must consist of two members.
  • Teams may select only one slot based on convenience.
  • Participants must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled slot.
  • Prior registration is mandatory.
  • All activities must remain within the allocated time frame.
